1) Nix Total first encountered his force sensitivity when he felt the death of his former partner as she hit the ground in the chasm. He didn't recognize his force sensitivity until a trained member of the NJO informed him of what they felt during their encounter at the New Republic Museum of Artifacts and Relics. Only his studies and research by that point allowed him to begin to understand what it meant.

2) Nix's darkest hour was Nix's biggest mistake. It was on the adventure that would earn Nix his credentials of Curator for the New Republic Explorer Corp. The flooring collapsed as he and his partner, Trix, removed the destroyed holocron from its resting place. When forced with the decision between his partner and this item that represented his future, he chose the holocron. As he felt the death of Trix, he only then realized the future with her that he lost.

3) Nix was curating at the museum on the Togruta planet Shili. The Shili Museum of Ancient Arts was visited by a member of NJO that was interested in the same holocron that Nix had found before. They noticed his force sensitivity and requested for him to return with them and the holocron to Praxeum.

4) Nix is strongly connected to Drans Podan, his old Rodian mentor from the University, who guided him on his path to study anthropology and archaeology. It was Professor Podan that gave him the tip of the holocron, a relic that the old professor didn't have the means to chase himself. Nix had a developing relationship with the old Togruta Mashok who runs the Ancient Arts museum.

Knowledge of a Forgotten History:
Nix is concerned with learning about the Jedi, the Sith, the Force, and their history. "Primary sources!" would be his answer for his persistence on seeking out relics and artifacts of the bygone age rather than the modern sample of Jedi.

Nix Total is an averaged-sized Gotal from Antar 4. His white/brown/gray calico fur makes him standout from the other Gotals, as he features the three strains of Gotal fur coloration genes at once. Seen as a birth defect it did not make him many friends at a young age as he didn't fit into any of the cliques of the youth. Some folks blamed the coloration on his parents who bore opposite color palletes, but it never held much weight under scrutiny. His skin maintained the traditional brown-gray tone that was common.

He wears a khaki long sleeve shirt and short tie that are specific to his late curating position and over that he wears a warm orange vest.

Nix has taken an interest in sporting hats, but has had difficulty negotiating his head cones.
