The third of seven pups of her sept, Maronea is San caste of the Acheli Selonian den, a colony inhabiting the outer rim world of Arx. As a drone female of the San caste, she serves her den as an ambassador of sorts, trained specifically to interact with aliens beyond the den. She is fluent in Basic and most galactic standard customs, but most of her knowledge is book learning, rather than gleaned from experience.

Maronea (shortened to Maron for the perceived benefit of aliens) was trained specifically to help procure trade and resources that her den needs to survive. To that end, she was also trained to be a pilot, so that she could seek out possible sources of aid. In the rough and tumble of the Outer Rim, Maron, learned sometimes this involved having to seek out hard-to-find items, and not always in the most legal way - a feat made difficult by the Selonians' reverence for being truthful beings. She's learned its a lot better to know how to smuggle hot items home in a fast ship, rather than be too slow and be compelled to confess when caught.

Relationship - Extended family/clan

As a drone of the Acheli den, Maron is bred for purpose. She has trained since infancy to fulfill her role as a member of the caste assigned to deal with aliens and outsiders. She is one of the few in the den who are permitted to leave home, and this is specifically for the purpose of securing the supplies that her den needs to thrive. Maron is deeply committed to the survival and well-being of her den.
