Improved Reflect KGT 3A When Anadel suffers a hit from a Ranged (Light), Ranged (Heavy), or Gunnery combat check that generates a Despair or 3 Threat, and she uses the Reflect incidental to reduce the damage from that hit, after the attack is resolved, Anadel automatically hits one target within medium range, dealing the same damage as the hit from the initial ranged attack. The ranged attack’s hit must be one that is able to be reflected and redirected (generally only blaster weapons fall into this category; anything else is subject to GM oversight). This ability may not be used if the original attack disables her.
Circle of Shelter KGT 4A When an ally engaged with Anadel suffers a hit from a combat check, she may use a Parry or Reflect incidental to reduce the damage the hit deals (even though she is not the target of the combat check).
Learning Opportunity 1 PDW 3B Once per round, Anadel may spend 3 Advantages on a check she fails to upgrade the ability of her next check once.

Background

Anadel was less so inducted and moreso discovered by the Order. She was found in a Coruscanti tenement in the undercity as a toddler, wasting away. An unremarkable student with the only real distinction having been cobbling together a lightsaber before needing to do so and cycling through around six or so hilts before being dragged into the war, each one being slightly less terrible than the last eventually having a project she wasn't ashamed of before continuing her trials, selected to be a Padawan under Aramus Victus.

Anadel possessed a hard heart and a grim determination that made her a sure pick for the Sentinels. Time will tell if she has any real hope among the corps or the Order.

Motivation

Oath: The Sentinels

Anadel takes her oaths to hunt Darksiders very seriously, despite only ever encountering one nor actually having much experience outside of training. Still, the flexibility afforded to the Sentinels makes it very appealing. Being able to be off her leash, unchained and unbound to stalk rooftops and across stars to find targets, discover mysteries and bring them to light... and discover darksiders to do the same. The idea of bringing everything to light is romantic enough that Nero gleefully plumbs the depths with her cleansing light.

Bloodied but undeterred. That is what An is known for, but as the war for Moroz deteriorates, neither fighting nor killing has gotten more difficult. She's instead been diving into these messes. In fact, storming forward has gotten much easier... so much easier.

It's gotten easier to forget why she fights, too. To shut out her friends. To stay away from 'home.' To rampage and be comfortable with it. To abandon her rules... after all, she was chosen, she was not the one who chose this path. To be alone. To frighten and alienate her friends. To be precariously unbalanced.

Anadel is a Sentinel. This manifests in two ways: an insatiable curiosity and wanderlust, as well as a fundamental need to be in control. This plays very well with the vigilante mindset she has. As a Sentinel, she is allowed to walk the razor's edge and with it, leave enemies quaking, those walking away from her passing doing so with her consent. To Anadel, bright lights cast long shadows, and long shadows mean longer reach, she is the penumbra, aimed to strike in darkness itself... drag them into the light and make them face her judgement.
