Background
Dr. Phobetor is an enigma, with no one quite knowing who he was before he took on his current occupation. There are many rumors claiming to reveal his background, even if their validity is dubious at best. One such tale goes that he was taken prisoner at a young age by a pirate crew who used his deep education and privileged status for their own gain, but were all killed when Phobetor sucked them out through their ship's airlock. Another story says that he was a medic in the Umbaran militia who sold out his entire company to the Republic in exchange for amnesty. Yet another claims that he was a prominent doctor who sold his services to criminals after being disgraced and sinking into poverty.
Whether any of the tales surrounding Dr. Phobetor are true, he remains an enigmatic but oddly alluring figure, with some accounts even alleging that he uses biological trickery to bend others to his will.
In any case, the good doctor is a highly-sought commodity among underworld groups who wish to make use of his expertise.

Even while Dr. Phobetor surrounds himself with some of the most vile and awful people and work in the galaxy, he still retains a natural curiosity and desire to improve his grasp of things, whether that be in the field of medicine or scholarship in general.

Dr. Phobetor is cold and unemotional. Many don't trust him, as his face is purported to be unreadable and his thoughts equally so. He speaks when necessary, and quite apathetically when he does. Phobetor does not to seem to have many morals or loyalties, though it would be impossible to know for certain.
Phobetor has the usual appearance of many of his species, having deep, sunken eyes, pale bluish skin, and no hair. He is quite slender and slightly taller than most. Phobetor has a constantly cold expression and demeanor, reflecting his personality.
