Kavi's ancestors were displaced from her homeworld thanks to the Tof invasion over two centuries ago. She has a romanticized, honor-bound image of her home, perpetuated by the storytellers in her extended family and the holo-messenger full of vids about "the glory days" of Nagi.

Living rough on the streets of [planet somewhere between the Core Worlds and the Unexplored Regions], she was picked up by [Jedi Knight/Master] on suspicion that she was Force-sensitive. [Jedi] had intervened in an angry gang of older children chasing after her for stealing food; they were frightened off by a simple use of the Force. [Jedi] brought Kavi to Coruscant to be tested and ultimately joined as a youngling at the Jedi Temple.

Due to her penchant for getting into mischief, sneaking into secured areas, "acquiring" objects she shouldn't have, and influencing seasoned temple guardians when caught, it was decided that Kavi would train to be a Jedi Sentinel under Master {insert name here] and strengthen her talents in stealth and skullduggery. However, just days before she would cease being a youngling and begin her apprenticeship to Master [name], the unthinkable happened.

Kavi, and a handful of other new padawan learners were gathered quickly and hustled onto a shuttle by Master [name of current protector], and they fled the Temple. It became clear over time that the clone army had turned on the Jedi. This rag-tag bunch of padawans now had to help their new "master" survive...

Injustice/Displacement
Without a home or a homeworld, a species not only loses resources but also the loss of identity. Even those who have an economic buffer might find themselves in a bureaucratic limbo with no legal status.

Reward/Beating the Odds
Smuggling is not an easy or safe career, but some Smugglers like the challenge of a difficult job, game, or situation. In this case it is true that the higher the risk the higher the reward, but the Smuggler still has some tricks up his sleeve to tip the odds more in his favor. When trying to beat the house during a high-stakes game, a Gambler can use skill or even cheat to appear lucky. The Gunslinger facing multiple opponents can use his particular talents to escape unscathed. This Smuggler makes his own luck. and his perilous career allows him to do so. The desired outcome is the satisfaction of succeeding despite the odds.

Enthusiasm
The character is always ready to try something new, and he approaches all of his tasks, even mundane ones, with excitement. He's not one to overthink a situation, lest he miss a great new opportunity.

Recklessness
Of course, a little thought can go a long way towards saving someone from a major mistake, which this character may find out to his sorrow on more than one occasion. Reckless behavior can leave him in dangerous situations or at the mercy of more calculating individuals.

Kavi's body shape is best described as "pointy". She is very skinny and long-limbed. Other than her padawan's braid, she has a shock of short spiked, dark blue-hued black hair. Her eyes are grey.
