Background

Bari is young, that he knows, but how young is anyone's guess. Orphaned at a young age by the Empire, the young child spent his formative years as a street urchin, fighting for every respite, before being lured in by a group of strangely dressed monks, who promised him a hot meal and a place to lay his head. Needless to say, Bari accepted, though he would often look back on that decision and curse it.

The following years of Bari's life were filled with physical pain and extreme hardship. The monks who took him in were extreme ascetics, vying for physical perfection in its most natural form. This meant years of harsh training, in horrible conditions. From resistance training in rapids, to agility training on volcanic islands, the monks traveled across the galaxy, eventually hardening the young man's body into iron in preparation for his greatest task.

After several years of training, Bari was brought to the eldest monk in the traveling band, who told him of his final task. He was to leave the band of monks as many before him did, and seek out greater challenges to further hone his body and mind until he reaches his peak, then return. Giving him a stipend of credits to equip himself with, they sent him off to deal with his task.

It took Bari several weeks of looking for a challenging enough task to devote his time to. During this time, he grew increasingly irritated and aware of the evils of the Empire, mostly through its treatment of the poor and weak. It grew to the point that Bari had to reach out to the Alliance. He is nervous about his choice, worried that it may be the wrong one, but he is looking forward to improving himself against some worthy opponents.

Motivation

Religion/Philosophy (Physical Improvement/Perfection): Bari is an adherent to an obscure religion, devoted to physical perfection and the path towards it. Pushing his limits and showing his mastery over the physical form is a driving force in Bari’s fight against the Empire.

Duties

Combat Victory (165)- The Player Character is driven to show that the Alliance can hold its own against Imperial forces in any troop vs. troop engagement. He wants to engage the Empire's military—their best, whenever possible—and provide more victories for the Alliance to tout to the galaxy as proof it can ultimately win the war. This means daring raids, excellent tactics, and acquiring the best firepower possible.
