Background
This Mandalorian born into his family as the eldest brother of a pair. While those of the Rebel Alliance know him by the name "Xurran Frostdrake", his proper name is "Mirad Crell". Like many before him in his family, became a bounty hunter as did his brother. While his younger brother took up to doing more Empire based contracts for the true founts of credits and fame. He frequently looked to the old glory days of the Clone Troopers and collects such equipment as a hobby, as well as gear for his hunts. The WESTAR-M5 that he uses is the second tech he obtained from the Clone Wars, maintaining it and is a known trait of his. The first being a damaged clone commando helmet he'd found as a child, near his home on Mandalore. Xurran took to more noble seeming tags among the freelance contractors for a while with a close friend, as a means to learn some extra tricks. While they payed decent, they couldn't cover the costs to maintain a proper life for a bounty hunter.
Just as he was beginning to think of shifting to Empire contracts. Even with all the questionable shade surrounding the Imperial actions in the recent days, especially after the sudden loss of Alderaan. While looking over some contracts and data streams, he'd caught wind through some underlying channels of a more honorable lot than the Empire. While weary of trusting a form of group that clearly was opposing those that many of his brothers and sisters of the Mandalorian Hunters, including his friend Shakac Trung, she was a freelance Bounty Hunter, who inspired his sense of avoiding the Empire track. He loathed the idea to give into the seemingly despicable and dishonorable acts of the Empire, this of course was due to the time he had originally spent with Shakac, whom he has not seen in the past few years. He reached out to the Rebel Alliance using agents to which he set up a meeting with some officers to discuss a deal of sorts.
After of which he came to hire on more dominantly for the Alliance than his previous works. Especially after his personal ship's (a very early model
Kappa-Class Shuttle vaguely restored by his parents thinking he'd make use of it) went dead and left the vessel behind, hidden, back on the outskirts of a civilized planet. To this day he holds fast to his beliefs of a honor over the ruthless acts of the Empire and even still fears the day he crosses paths with his family on his missions. Though he one day wants to see his close friend once more.
