Precise Aim EotE CRB 141 Once per round on the character’s turn, the character may perform a Precise Aim maneuver before attempting a combat check and suffer a number of strain. The number of strain cannot exceed his ranks in Precise Aim. She then decreases the target’s defense (ranged and melee) by one per strain suffered for that combat check.

She suffers 3 strain and reduces the damage dealt by that hit by a number equal to 2 plus her ranks in Parry. This talent may only be used once per hit and when the character is wielding a Lightsaber or Melee weapon.

Background

Beginnings: The Poor and Hungry
Reason for Adventure: A Failure of Character

Lumiya grew up on Tatooine, where she called in bounties for the Hutt cartel. Her partner was a dangerous Trandoshan named Sliss who brutalized their quarry while Lumiya covered with her rifle from a distance. Sliss and Lumiya worked together like two matching puzzle pieces, but that did not mean they always got along. Sliss was greedy, which made Lumiya defensive of her own earnings from the bounties they collected. As paranoia crept up on her, she decided that she'd had enough of watching her back around the Trandoshan.

After hunting down a runaway Rodian, Lumiya loaded detonator rounds into her rifle and took out both the Rodian and Sliss in one shot. She left Sliss for dead and took all of the pay for herself. Sliss survived, however, and returned for Lumiya's skin. Lumiya was not dumb enough to face the Trandoshan directly, so she fled Tattooine entirely.
