Background
EX-IMPERIAL OPERATIVE
Knowledge is power, and Caris was one of those who knew a lot. Hailed as the best in his field, Caris was recruited by the empire at an early age. He was sent to the Imperial Academy to further his knowledge and then, upon graduation, was sent out into the galaxy to gather information and ancient technology that could bring down the Empire's foes.
During the Rebellion years Caris remained loyal to the Empire, but when the Empire fell at the planet Endor, Caris saw an opportunity to take what he knew to the winning side. As he saw it, his knowledge would keep him alive - and he'd sell that information to this highest bidder.
Motivation
OBLIGATION +15
Betrayal: leaving the Empire was the hardest decision Caris ever had to make; afterall, his entire family were prominent members of the Empirical society. If they ever found out he had willingly switched sides, it would destroy them. So he constantly fights with himself on who his loyalties truly lye with.
Family [gain +5 xp]: Caris will do anything for his family ... he'll help them in any way he can, even if it means betraying the Rebellion.
MOTIVATION
Status: his family is already a prominent member in society, no matter who's in control of the government. But one must maintain that status -- it would be tragic to loose that status.

Description
Mandalorian Humans, while not physically different from any other human from across the galaxy, does have a certain air about them. Caris stands at 6'1 and is physically fit for a man who's nose is mostly stuck inches from a computer researching ancient civilizations or stories from days of the Old Republic. Caris typically keeps a five o'clock shadow goatee, but otherwise keeps his facial hair down to a minimum -- appearance is everything. His flowing brown hair is a tussled mess, but it looks trimmed and well maintained. His clothing of choice is a suit with pocket handkerchief, white collared button down shirt, and ascot. To add in a flair of his own style he wears non-prescription spectacles with flip down shades. Underneath his coat is a concealed hold-out blaster (father, a military man, insisted Caris always remain armed, no matter where he went).
