For his entire life, Sonnray has had a burdensome legacy to live up to. His mother owns a large intergalactic corporation, while his father is the latest in a long-line of prominent politicians to emerge from the Crokem family. Having received the best education money can buy, Sonnray is now ready to begin making a name for himself, hoping to add to the long list political and economic accomplishments already made by his parents. He has recently bought himself a home on Corellia, where he intends to start a business of his own and hold political office. Of course, these ambitions, especially the latter, require the support of the common people. And what better way to gain their adoration than by becoming a patron of some of their favorite passtimes? Sonnray has thus begun looking for swoop racers to sponsor, hoping to build up his brand as a purveyor of top-notch entertainment as a means of building his popularity and thus rising to greater political heights.

Though proud of his heritage, Sonnray is not content to simply rest on the laurels of his parents. He aims to build a name for himself, and has already begun laying the foundations for this. The political office he currently holds is but a stepping stone to greater things, perhaps even the Senate one day. In the meantime, he hopes to become obscenely wealthy and powerful, using his inimitable charisma and sharpness to reach these goals.

Corellia was not the first world on which he tried to make his fortune. On a previous world, he ran for a local administrative position but was soundly defeated by a candidate supported by a political coalition seeking to secure as much influence in galactic politics as possible. Sonnray is still reeling from this defeat, hoping this is the last he has seen of this organization. Of course, he may not be so lucky.
