Lancer Tep was a Kiffar born of Kiffex , belonging to Clan Tep.Early on in life he was taught essential skills by his family to hunt, stalk, kill, and prepare his prey , he also trained day and night to be a warrior who would fight for his clan but when The Empire eventually made his way to Kiffa and Kiffex to finally put down the idea of the independent Kiffar culture inhabiting the planet, They cut down the inhabitants who fought tooth and nail but The Empire was too overwhelming forcing the planets to surrender, The planets proved to be prime real estate for imperial facilities. Henceforth the Kiffar never re-inhabited their settlements on Kiffa and Kiffex and were “required” to enter the “work force” causing many Kiffar to be slaves to empire despite being humanoid in nature. Lancer was one of these many slaves but he had it the worst of most Kiffar he began working in Weapons Factory Alpha on Cymoon 1, one of the most ruthless factories, running day and night without food. This was his “home” for seventeen years, when he became 24 he was acknowledged for being a good worker and was to be “promoted” to forced labour in the spice mines of sullust, while on the way there, he couldn’t live this life anymore and hijacked the convoy, while uniting with his fellow workers, and made a break for the nearby planet of Tatooine. He said goodbye to his fellow workers but he stayed behind with the captured imps, slitting their throats while alone. He left the ship in docking bay 3 for authorities to find and moved on with his newfound freedom. Early on, he found no luck working normal jobs but he soon realized their was a demand for men willing to do whatever it takes to earn a few credits, Mercenary work became Lancer’s life for a year, earning some good money until a job on Corellia went bad leaving him with only his Vibroblade, the clothes on his back, and 250 credits. He stowed away on a ship headed to pick up Tibanna gas from Bespin finding himself in the social hub of the galaxy looking for work once more
