Thunk grew up on a Ando, constantly getting into fights until one day one of his cousins informed him he could be getting paid to fight people. Since then he passed through a number of shady ports and fighting establishments, gaining something of a reputation for brutality. At the time he didn't concern himself with why during one of his fights he went from fighting his opponent to fighting some well-dressed humans, to fighting some humans in armour before finally their numbers overwhelmed him. The underground club he was at had been raided by local security and then Imperial enforcement. For assaulting multiple Imperial Officers, and killing at least one local security officer, he was sentenced to an Imperial prison. For assaulting the officer assigned to escort him from court he was re-sentenced to be dropped on Avernum, preferably from a great height.

Challenge: Superiority

Thunk knows on some instinctual level that he's bigger, stronger, and better than most people. The underground fights were less about the money, and more about proving that he was the biggest, baddest, and best. How much of this innate feeling is in fact the Dark Side of the Force speaking to him is probably a question better suited to some kind of priest.

Thunk has a prevailing sense of his own indestructibility, this coupled with his species' natural tendency to be bad tempered and prone to rages can make him a danger to both his enemies and anyone in his way in a fight.

Thunk is a hulking Aquala Aqualish, a rare sight away from his homeworld and considered by many to be more primitive owing to their lack of prehensile fingers. Thunk has always found his finned fists suitable for punching, why bother with extra breakable fingers? He is large even for a member of his species, obviously well-muscled even through the layers of insulating fat. Essentially a big angry refrigerating unit.
