Grit (Rank 1) Shadow 10XP Each rank of Grit increases a character’s strain threshold by one.
Sleight of Mind (Rank 1) Shadow 15XP Force Talent The character adds a Bonus die per rank of Sleight of Mind to his Stealth checks unless the being attempting to detect the character is immune to Force Powers.
Now You See Me Shadow 20 XP Once per session, take the Now You See Me action; make a Hard Deception check to make a number of NPCs equal to Cunning within Medium range forget about the character.
Master of Shadows Shadow 25XP Once per round, the character may voluntarily suffer two strain to decrease the difficulty of the next Stealth or Skulduggery check by one, to a minimum of Easy.
Dedication (Rank 1) Cunning Shadow 25XP Each rank permanently increases a single characteristic of the player’s choice by one point. This cannot bring a characteristic above six.

Anatomy Lessons Shadow 25XP After a successful attack with a non-starship/vehicle weapon, the character may spend one Destiny Point to add damage equal to his Intellect to one hit of the attack.
Force Rating (Rank 1) Shadow 25XP Each rank permanently increases Force rating by one.
Street Smarts (Rank 1) Shien Expert 5XP Remove a Setback Die (Black Die) per rank of Street Smarts from any Streetwise or Knowledge (Underworld) checks the character attempts.

Description
The Force user creates illusions to fool those around him/her.
The user may spend Destiny Points to make a target at up to short range unable to perceive a chosen person or object of silhouette 1 or smaller. Until the beginning of the user's next turn, the target cannot see or sense hidden person or object.

Background

Raithe Arlen started out as a ten-year-old girl who lived on the streets of Coruscant. Anything she needed, she stole. Though Raithe wouldn't steal from just anybody. She only stole from obnoxious scum who could afford to be robbed.

Two years after the Mandalorian Wars began, Raithe was taking spare credits from some rich sleemo's landspeeder when the owner unexpectedly returned. With too little time to escape, Raithe instinctively froze, secretly hoping the shadows would hide her. To her surprise, they did. The owner had stopped within five inches from her face and saw nothing. He casually jumped into his vehicle and left, unsuspecting of the theft she had committed. Little did Raithe know that a Jedi was watching her from the rooftops, silently contemplating her future.

At first, Raithe had thought it was a simple fluke. Weeks went by before she began to realize that she had the ability to become invisible at will. She couldn't, for the life of her, figure out why. Raithe figured that the best place to do research was at a library. If there a library that could explain what freaky, supernatural thing was happening to her, it was inside the Jedi Temple. However, Raithe knew that the Jedi Temple was forbidden to everyone who wasn't a Jedi, so she decided to do a little "breaking-and-entering."

As far as obnoxious people went, Raithe assumed she couldn't do any better than the Jedi.

Raithe was almost immediately caught, however, by Master Naiadra Varr, a Nautolan Jedi Peacekeeper. Varr did not only gave Raithe the explanation for her new-found gift. She also taught her the true meaning of the Jedi path, and inevitably, became her master.

Being apprenticed to a Jedi Peacekeeper, Raithe used her uncanny ability of cloaking herself with the Force to infiltrate merchant rings, gather intelligence on collectors/buyers of Sith artifacts, and assist in foiling terrorists and crime organizations.

Later in her padawan years, as Raithe began to follow the Sentinel path and dual specialize as a Shadow and Shien Expert, she would help the Jedi arrest darkside practitioners. Raithe would also work with the Special Enforcement Officers to help arrest, detain, investigate, interrogate and track high profile cases while undercover.

Motivation

Destroy the Sith: Through ancient texts and diligent research, Raithe has learned of the Jedi's ancient enemies: the Sith. She has set out to defeat and destroy their order, or at the very least, do what she can to hinder them.

Expertise: Raithe wants to excel in her area of expertise, and constantly practices to achieve perfection.

Morality

Emotional Strength
Malleability: Raithe is morally and ethically flexible and judges situations and others based on relative circumstance for the good of the community, rather than strict legal code.

Emotional Weakness
Cold-Heartedness: The drive to reach her goals can make Raithe set aside concepts of compassion. As far as Raithe is concerned, anyone who turns to the darkside is automatically an enemy of the Order and nothing more. Friends are no exception.
