Background
Raised on Coruscant, Amira was the only daughter of Yun and Mern Malo, a nobel house of intellectuals and politicians. Amira hated the oppression and propaganda of the Empire, and always had dreams of bringing her passion for medicine and helping people to the outer rim, where it is needed most. Her family would not hear of it, so as she turned 19, she chartered a ship to take her off world. She didn't get far, ending up in the Corellian sector.

She has an intense drive to become the best doctor she can, so as to help as many in need as possible. She also has a keen interest in synthesising her own medicinal compounds.
