An ID-9 droid rebuilt from parts salvaged by the Rebellion. Since ID-9 droids are notoriously difficult to capture intact, "Chirp", as he is affectionately known, differs somewhat from his stock counterparts. Considered less disposable, he has a more sturdy build, and he has been rebuilt with more powerful processors. Unfortunately, none of the ID-9 memory units survived, so his personality matrix and vocational training had to be assembled from scratch.
