Background
Zix Nek'Izit, being an intelligent hermaphroditic Verpine and hardly one of the standard worker drones. Spoke to technology better than his own race in the Roche Asteroid Cluster. However, the swarm had enough brilliant shipbuilders and engineers crafting Ion and Shatter weapons. Zix wanted a rather.. different speciality. Instead of crafting like his swarm siblings he thrived on being able to break their devices, constantly testing the internal durability of their newely crafted machinery. Eventually, the swarm had enough of the constant "demonstrations" of how easily he could hack and slice his way through their systems. They deemed him codename "Mantis" due to his aptitude for chewing the wires and figuratively "devouring" their standard software protocols. Dropping him off hastily on Nar Shadaa with nowhere to go telling him to "go chew your way through someone elses credits". Why he did just that, he stowed away on a loaded droid freighter and hacked into their security protocols giving him an easy infiltration and escape through a factory where he stole plans and sold them to start making a living triggering a bit of a price on his head. Trust me, that wont ever stop him.
Motivation
Crime: Zix makes part of his living off of illegal dealings through sabotage and slicing into places he is not meant to get into. which has become increasingly difficult due to the rule and structural integrity of the Empire. The Mantis believes that with stowing away on Ansig, new opportunities will arise for profit and find oppurtunity to topple those in the stations way.

(Obligation) Bounty: 3,000 credit bounty on geonosis due to stealing plans for various droid schematics to sell off-world for gear.
(Duty) Sabotage: The largest and most powerful military forces in the history of the galaxy is also the most vulnerable to acts of destruction and asset denial. Zix is focused on disrupting enemy operations in any way possible, whether it's
the manufacture of weapons, troop movements, supply shipments, banking systems, or any other key operation, in order to make the enemies of Ansig act more slowly and less capably.
