Background
Zetra was born into a primitive and isolated Force sect on a planet in the far Outer Rim. The sect believed that pain and suffering was the only true source of power in the Force, and often performed rituals including bloodletting and self-harm, believing it would give them greater power. As her mother taught her, their ancestors were Sith Lords in the old Sith Empire, but were cast out for their strange and heretical ways. Zetra was often taught such legends of the ancient Sith and their victories over the feeble Jedi, and the Sith Empire's eventual corruption into what they called "a frail and sickly shadow of its former self" due to their inability to accept the truth - agony was the one true wellspring of might in the Force.
Zetra's mother was an esteemed member of the sect, praised as being very powerful in the Force. But the sect was always looking for ways to grow their strength, often to the detriment of other members, and her parents were no different. As such, one day, while the sect was performing their usual rituals, the head shaman called Zetra forward. She looked to her mother with confusion and slight nervousness, but she encouraged Zetra to go. Trusting her mother, the young Human stepped up to the shaman, wondering what she was needed for. Just then, her mother stepped up behind her, holding a ceremonial blade. Bewildered and afraid, Zetra stumbled backwards and into the shaman. He simply looked down at her and said softly "this is what must be done, dear Zetra." As Zetra would realize later, her mother was performing a ritual of her own; as the sect taught, pain was the greatest source of power, and after all, is there any greater pain than the loss of a child? On the verge of tears, the young Zetra pleaded with her mother to stop, but she did not seem to even hear her. Gripped with terror, the child lashed out, unleashing some kind of great Force power upon everyone around her and falling unconscious in the process. When she awoke, the entire sect was dead. Breaking down, she cradled the corpse of her mother, sobbing as she pleaded for her to wake up. She never did.
Wracked with shock and guilt, Zetra sat for several days in the deserted camp, only the blade of her mother to keep her company. Nearly a year passed before she heard a strange humming sound outside. Emerging from one of the tents, she saw a towering white machine touching down on the red dirt. A tall black figure emerged, a labored but intimidating wheezing sound as its only introduction. It stared down at Zetra, then finally spoke. "Come with me, young one." Zetra did not know why, but she followed the figure into his flying machine and they flew away from the planet she had known all her life, leaving the tragedy that had occurred there behind.
Motivation
Ambition - Knowledge
Zetra seeks a greater understanding of the Force and the world around her, as she realizes that what she was taught within her sect was incredibly limited in scope.
Morality
Strength: Perseverance
Weakness: Resignation
Value: 30
Zetra has experienced much tragedy and pain in her life, and as such, she has a great tolerance for it. However, this constant agony can also cause Zetra to become apathetic and resigned, believing everything to be meaningless in the face of life's eternal torment.
Description
Zetra is a lean but well-built individual, having trained both her mind and body extensively since her time in the sect. She wears fairly simple layered cloth attire, being somewhat uncomfortable with the unnatural armor of the Empire. Her face is accented with tattoos from the sect, with one red point on her forehead and three points below her lips, among others. Her hair has been cut short during her time serving Vader, both to distance herself from the sect and make it less intrusive in combat.
