Massik was born into a normal Selonian den and trained to be a warrior from a young age, this came to a screeching halt when one day the alarms were sounded and gas filled the den. Many died quickly, brawls quickly started in the hallways and Stormtroopers streamed in. The selonians were really outnumbered and thus were quickly defeated. After a little while most fighters were dead and Massik was beat. The remaining Selonians were taken as slaves. This entire operation was a way for the Imperials to make the Selonians hostile to the outsiders. (how succesful this was is up to the GM's) The Selonians were taken and quickly sold to slavers. The youngest were all taken by the same slavers. The Selonians were taken around the galaxy and sold one by one, the conditions were terrible and they were used by the pirates for "Pleasures". Massik got through it, but a burning hatred started inside of her when she saw everything that happened. One day an old human came in and told great stories about force users, this inspired Massik and she started trying to look into herself and unlocking this power, without any real progress. Until one day the slaver who was guarding them fell asleep and his keycard was sticking out. Once more she tried to access the force and she felt something. With her newfound power she grabbed the keycard and freed herself, then she went onto the slaver and wrapped her tail around his neck and started choking him until he breathed no more. Then she freed the other Selonians and the human. They were all kind of freaking out, but Massik gathered the Selonians and armed themselves. They vastly outnumbered the slavers and after a bloody battle with casualties on both sides they killed the slavers. When only the leader remained, he surrendered. Massik didn't care and killed him anyways. This shocked the Selonians and mostly the Human, who told her she needed to be better then this. Then Massik saw what she'd done and she took some time for herself. The Selonians with the help of the human piloted the ship to the nearest planet which was a jungle planet where they made a Den and the oldest selonian took charge. Massik on the other hand was repressing her force abilities since she thought it had caused her anger. The human (called Dorban) tried getting her out of it by teaching her medicine and making her heal. This made her feel better and eventually she started using her abilities again. They stayed on this planet for quite a while until a Jedi master came across the planet due to (reason implemented by the GM's probably an artifact or something) who found out the Selonian settlement and saw Massik using the force and took her to the New Jedi Order.

She believes the jedi order is the best way for liberation and protection of those who are enslaved.
