BD-B was part of a large shipment to the surface of Kuat only days after their first round of inter-galactic production. While cute and capable, these droids did not appeal to the opulent tastes of the upper class for long, and most were scrapped or recycled. BD-B belonged to a wealthy Kuati Woman named Dia, who grew tired of him after a few days. He was fortunate enough to be sent back to the Orbital Ring for repurposing. He was fitted with a restraining bolt that only allowed him to share factual information with guests looking to visit the planet's surface. Naturally curious, and fresh off the assembly line, BD-B met all types of people and species, and learned of underground operations on Kuat. BD-B wasn't able to vocalize what he learned, but he was able to process it, and form his own opinions about what he saw. He had been programmed to believe that harming a human was a decision not to be calculated lightly. This basic and deeply rooted function helped BD-B form a positive opinion of the underground transfer and release of rebel slaves. The Empires disregard for human rights combined with his positive perception of the rebel saviors has aligned him with the rebellion, and he now seeks his freedom from Imperial restraint.

Resource Acquisition

BD-B, or Blue, is a small BD series droid with business skills. His shipment was supposed to help the upper class on Kuat manage their financial affairs, and perform the tedious negotiations that always accompany the export of commercial products.
