Background
Built by Baktoid Combat Automata near the middle of the Clone Wars on Mustafar, Embeetoo spent his early years doing the one thing he was “born” to do: kill. A frequent grunt in the droid armys forces during the Outer Rim Seiges Embeetoo went about following his superiors order without remorse or hesitation, successfully eliminating 28 clones by himself before his first demise. Even in his earliest days however, the spark of sentience began to foster inside of him, spurred by the elation of each corpse he laid before his feet. Eventually however he was assigned to the planet Boz Pity, a graveyard world in which the Dark Acolyte Ventress tended her wounds. After a surprise Republic siege on the loyal droid laid before the feet of his adversaries, cut down the middle by a young Jedi Knight, much to his horror and odd sense of satisfaction, convinced that his skill was so grand that it had to take a Jedi to slay him.
Melting on a giants grave the barely consciously solder awaited whatever release a droid could receive, only to be found post battle by a Republic mechanic named Hund Porank. The old Chevin took what remained of Embeetoo and planned to build him into an undercover plant until releasing the droids apparent self-consciousness. Filled with anger and spite at the loss of his friends during the Sieges Porank transformed the remaining slag of a chassis into its worst nightmare; the once proud “warrior” he believed himself to be became an engine of mercy, much to his dismay: an advanced field surgeon. Reinforced with riot plating, internal compartments, increased mobility systems, and dexterous cybernetic hands Embeetoo was dragged by Porank to various worlds to work in impoverished urban environments, with the droid howling in dismay all the while. He, an honorable soldier of the Confederacy, reduced to being a nurse, it infuriated him to no end.
A year after his resurrection the fall of the Republic loomed overhead. Porank, having grown bored with his salvaged creation, sold the droid for a pittance worth to a hospital on Duro. Here, through an unclosed amount of events, he was once more reprogrammed into a warrior in order to guard freighters supplying bacta to the orbiting station he resided in. However, his original programming and new protocol began to clash, leading him to involuntarily rush to the aid of the injured, all the while complaining and violently insulting the patient in his tinny monotone voice. After a while he was once again sold due to his behavioral inconsistences and erratic programming, leading him into the hands of a common junk dealer ready to melt him down for scrap. The idea of a second death by a “lowly civilian” drove him to break his loyal mentality and attempt to murder his "master". Fortunetly for him, the Consortium took care of the crooked salvage worker as he owed them a considerable amount of credits, freeing the bulky droid. No longer a nurse, no longer a guard, he was a killer one more. With his new found freedom he rushed to the stars aboard a passenger yacht as cargo, yearning to find a way to eliminate his new programming, as during his time as a medic he began to feel a bit of remorse and maybe even empathy for those he cared for, under the guise of hatred. To him though this softness could not stand, he needed to untether himself with his past life and look to the future, he needed to feel the spark of life through combat aand to never feel robbed of a kill again. But who knows, through this journey will the metallic man find comfort in healing, or will he use these abilities to make his days in the war seem like child’s play? In the meantime, he will do what he can to scar what's left of the Republic holdouts and cause his former master as much grief as he possibly can.
Motivation
Conflict- Adrenaline Junky: As battle gave him what he believes to be his spark of life, o does the rush of battle drive him. When in combat, he believes he is becoming more "human", more of an individual (ironic considering he was a basic mass produced grunt). Despite is average combat ability, he yearns for that rush, that feeling when another sentient being is snuffed from the galaxy, a feeling he is constantly robbed of when he saves the lives of his "comrades".
Drive- At All Cost: First and formost Embeetoo wants to become a full killer once more, to shed his growing sense of mortality, empathy, and care that builds within him each day. He wishes to destroy these feelings, to upgrade his systems and to make even the grandest of the Emperor's soldiers seem like children in comparision. Not only that, but he also wishes to cause any semblance of the former Republic or his former "master" as much pain as possible whenever he has the chance whether that his open firing on a Chevin merchant or slicing the throat of a Republic sympathizer. To reach these goals, he does not care who dies or how much is destroyed, so long as he is a killer once more and that thoae that did him wrong suffer time and time again.
Ambition- Self Discovery: Against all this violence however, the tattered droid wishes to discocer what he is, the measure of his so called sentience. Though he usually feels that he should break free of his medical programming and feel the sting of life through combat, sometimes he questions whether or not doing so makes him truly alive. We wishes to find his place in the galaxy (after he has disposed of any "inconveniences").
Duties
(Note: This runs off Obligation and Morality. The only way I could show the characters knowledge in Warfare would be through this format).
Emotional Strength: Consistency- Once he sets his mind to anything, D-MB@ will do whatever it takes to carry out his goals to the letter, no matter what stands in his way. Though many find him to be violent and without any redeeming qualities they cannot argue with his results.
Emotional Weakness: Coldness- However, do not look to find any sympathy in his "heart". Cold, calculating, and efficient, he murders as he pleases (when his programming allows) and when forced to heal his allies he does not stop to insult them and proclaim his hatred for his inability to finish them off, though he does it in a calm tinny voice typical of his model. Though a bit of emotion hides in his hard shell, he would sooner die than sow this weakness.
Both his strength and his weakness show an odd trait found in his core: though he loves the thrill of the kill the idea of anything put a swift and clean death confuses him. That is, except for the suffering he wishes to bestow on the old Chevin, as he believes him and his subordinates are the only ones who need such a proper "reward" in a personal sense.
Obligations:
A Score to Settle (5): Embeetoo would never forget and never forgive the former Republic mechanic for turning him to into a "bacta tank on legs". As such, the idea that his former "master" may yet be still alive and kicking sickens him to no end. He will do whatever it takes to make the old man pay, whether that be through collateral damage or his own blood and sinew.
Disgraced (10): What's there to say? He's a B2 unit, a symbol of the former CIS. Galactic civilization as a whole shuns him, whether that be because of his obvious former life as a Separatist troop or because of their belief that the CIS were responsible for the masses scraping the former Republic into the tyrannical empire. Forget not being aloud in Chalmun's, this rust bucket is lucky to get even a passing smile.
Description
You can tell this is one battle hardened droid. His frame still shows the "scar" of sorts where he was split down the middle, his chassis a dull scrapped grey. He is, however, far more customized than the usual B2 and also quite thicker, having humanlike hands in which to operate, faded olive green harnesses and containers welded to his frame containing medical equipment and stimpacks, a large cerebral stabilizer locked onto his back (though detachable), and the word "failure" written along the left side of his "face" in Mando'a in bold yellowish orange aurabesh symbols left as a humiliating "gift" for his defeat. He also sports a bangolier over his left shoulder filled with stimpacks along with nullicane and stimstick dispensers located next to his inbuilt medical pack (though he would have much preferred "Mercy" grenades and dioxis gas). Embeetoo is also covered with the occasional patch of dark grey laminant armor around more vital areas on his chassis (thus where the riot armor comes in). He no longer uses his original weaponry, instead opting for a lengthier cavalry blaster attached to his wrist with a concealable bayonet attached underneath the barrel.
