Droo has been serving the Rebel Alliance in a military capacity for over twenty years now. Subjected to a brief period of slavery at the hands of the Empire, his freedom was won as the slave transport he was trapped on became a victim of pirates. Droo spent a small period of time serving the pirate crew, while dealing with the traumas of his term of slavery. It was at this time he developed a drinking habit.
After earning enough creds to leave the piracy trade Droo signed up with the Alliance. Still haunted by a mixture of anger, guilt and self loathing he will never be the model soldier. But the enforced discipline of the rebels has kept him at least somewhat focussed.

Justice: It may be a futile task to come to terms with his own demons. However Droo may just be able to save others from his fate. A vicious opponent of slavery and the Empires fascist policies, Droo sees himself as an instrument of the Alliance now, in fact that is his sole salvation.

Political Support:

A Wookiee just past his middle years. His fur is streaked with grey, and various scars have left patches of thin or missing hair. Droo is frequently bad tempered, though a drink will surely lighten his mood, at least for a time. He sees it as his responsibility to ensure others, especially Wookiees, do not repeat his mistakes.
The honour he lost after escaping slavery lies heavily, possibly for the rest of his life. Despite this he strives to clear his conscience by serving dutifully. Recently he has been serving under a younger and charismatic Wookiee named Tush.
