Background
Part of a small Verpine community sent on a research placement some four years ago to investigate reports of pre Republic settlements. It wasn't long before the Empire caught wind of the rumours and sent their own enforcers to ensure any finds of interest were delivered directly into their hands. The two dozen Verpine, along with many other locals, were subjected to a violent oppression from an Imperial Security Beaurau team. The Imperial forces using their tried and tested routine, murder and torture to reinforce the rule by fear.
Villo's father was one of the casualties of this act of terror.
Motivation
Liberty and freedom.
Obligations
10: Family (The rest of the Verpine community and other Archeologists under the cosh of the Empire). Villo is always considering the safety of his friends and peers in his personal vendetta.
10: Revenge. Lt Yanzar, a particularly brutal senior agent in the ISB was the man that pulled the trigger on his father. Villo is hopelessly out of his league in getting the revenge he wants, and has to settle for now in upsetting Yanzars plans and goals regarding the ISBs local projects.
One day though....
Description
A slim insectoid, barely standing 185cm tall, Villo has green carahide mottled with veins of black. Most of the time he dresses in rough outdoor clothing, complete with a heavy jacket and boots. He prizes his protective goggles and Datapad highly, but is now paranoid enough to value the small blaster inside his coat even more highly.
He is wary of outsiders after the Imperial oppression, though he understands that only with outside help will he be able to truly fight back against the ISB.
He is a strong willed member of his kind, tempered further by his treatment at the hands of the Empire, whom he hates passionately. His work as a continuing archeological investigator is still something he cares about. Now however, it comes with a determined and spiteful desire to ensure that anything of value to the Empire is concealed and smuggled off world into the hands of private collectors, or the Rebellion. This nature to fight against the iron fist that surrounds them has earnt him enemies among the locals, who fear the retribution this may invite.
As a result of this ambition, he tends to keep his head down in urban civilian areas. A cool temper and a long term goal keep his mind on track, though should the opportunity arise to kill an imperial thug or operative without being seen... well, there's a lot of repressed rage burning under that green skin, and it will have its revenge.
