Name Rank Book & Page Description
Grit Force and Destiny pg 144 Each rank of Grit increases a character’s strain threshold by 1. (Passive)
Forager Force and Destiny pg 143 The character removes up to two Setback dice from her skill checks to find food, water, or shelter. Survival checks to forage take half the time. (passive)
Swift Force and Destiny pg 153 The character does not suffer the penalties for moving through difficult terrain (she moves through it at normal speed, without spending additional maneuvers). (Passive)
Keen Eyed Rank 1 (Second Row) Force and Destiny pg 146 The character removes a Setback die per rank of Keen Eyed from her Perception and Vigilance checks. Checks made to search a specific area take 50% less time than normal. This does not decrease with additional ranks of Keen Eyed. (Passive)
Animal Empathy Force and Destiny pg 139 When making checks to handle, tame, or control animals, the character may add a number of force dice no greater than his Force rating to the check. The character may spend force points to add an success or advantage (character’s choice) to the result per point spent. (Passive, Force Talent)
Animal Bond Force and Destiny pg 138 Through the Force, the character creates a bond with a single animal with which she is currently interacting. This cannot be done during structured encounters. This animal must have a silhouette equal to or smaller than half the character’s Force rating when the bond is created, rounded down (this means a character with Force rating 1 could only bond with a silhouette 0 animal). The bond persists as long as the character chooses it to, although at the CM’s discretion, the bond may also be broken due to abusive treatment or other extenuating circumstances. As long as the bond persists, the animal remains near the character, and the controlling player dictates the animal’s overall behavior (although, since the animal is only bonded with the character, not dominated, it may still perform certain inconvenient actions such as scratching furniture, consuming rations, and marking territory). Once per round in structured encounters, the character may spend one maneuver to direct her animal in performing one action and one maneuver. The animal must be within hearing and visual range of the character (generally medium range) to do this. Otherwise, the animal does not contribute to the encounter. The specifics of its behavior are up to the player and CM. (Passive, Force Talent)

Power
Alter
Description
The Force user can tap into the Living Force of their surroundings, manipulating the nearby environs.
Upgrade Effect
Basic • When touching the ground, you may spend a Force point to make all terrain within short range difficult terrain until the end of your next turn. You may only use this on natural terrain that can change form easily, such as sand, snow, mud, dense foliage, or the like. You may not activate this multiple times per use.

•When touching the ground, you may spend a Force point to make all terrain within short range normal terrain until the end of your next turn. You may only use this on natural terrain that can change form easily, such as sand, snow, mud, dense foliage, or the like. You may not activate this multiple times per use.
Power
Heal/Harm
Description
Heal lets a character mend wounds with a simple touch. Heal can only be used by light side Force-sensitive characters.

Harm lets a character drain the very life from a target with a touch
Upgrade Effect
Basic •Heal (light side Force user only): The user may spend a Force point to heal a number of wounds equal to her Intellect on one engaged living creature (including herself). This counts as a use of a stimpack on the affected target (see page 227). This means a single target may only benefit from five uses of Heal over a twenty-four-hour period, and his uses of Heal also count against the limit on uses of stimpacks (and vice versa). The user may not activate this multiple times per use.

•Harm: The user may spend a Force point to inflict a number of wounds (ignoring soak) equal to the Force user’s Intellect on one engaged living creature. The user gains 1 Conflict. The user may not activate this multiple times per use.

Background

Dr. Lutea was born on the idyllic planet of Glee Anselm. Her parents worked as tour guides for the Star Tours company. Due to an illness, her parents were no longer able to have children after she was hatched, making little Lutea the center of their beautiful universe. When she had barely lost her tadpole tail, Lutea began to show signs of force sensitivity, In her play tank she would bloom the algae over and over, tricking her parents into games of hide and seek to her endless amusement.

It wasn’t long before a jedi came to visit their small family. After many hours of discussion and days of thought, Lutea’s parents declined the jedi’s offer. They could not bear to send away their special child that brought them so much happiness. Lutea had a voracious desire to learn everything she could about the natural world and all the beauty it held, her parent’s occupation only served to feed that appetite. She loved listening to the stories of far away planets with creatures and places she had never seen from the tourists she met.

Her family worked for Star Tours through the clone wars, but once it ended and the empire began to rise, the tourism business dried up. Her parents found work within the capital city of Glee Anselm and she enrolled into school for xenology and medicine. As a graduation present, her parents gave her an old, modified Star Tours ship for her to find her own path in life. She traveled to the outer rim and helped where she could and found a powerful peace in the wilderness she discovered there.

Her easy going nature and compassion have served her well, getting her in and out of situations that more hot-headed people may have met their end at, and has allowed her to make friends along the way. No matter how far she strays from the deep oceans of her home she knows that as long as she keeps happiness in her heart and mercy in her actions her family is always with her.

•LIGHT SIDE PARAGON•
As long as the character’s Morality score remains above 70, at the beginning of every session, when generating the Destiny pool (but before any players roll to determine starting Destiny Points), the character adds one light side Destiny Point to the pool.

Emotional Strength
•Mercy: Lutea has a "No Worries" Outlook on Life and generally believes in a live and let live way of life. She shows mercy toward her foes, dealing with them fairly and honorably. She can spare the defenseless, will help a helpless enemy, and generally does not abuse a position of strength.

Emotional Weakness
Weakness: There is a fine line between showing mercy to one’s foes and letting evil fester because one does not want to engage with it. She may let bad things happen simply because it is too hard to deal with them.

•Amphibious: Nautolans may breathe underwater without penalty and never suffer movement penalties for traveling through water.

STUN DAMAGE (PASSIVE)
Some weapons deal Stun damage instead of regular damage. In this case, the weapon deals damage as strain instead of wounds. This damage is still reduced by a target’s soak.
