Ivaadi was raised since early childhood in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. She showed a strong connection with the Force and progressed quickly when given instruction, but was held back in her training due to her emotional instability. The Jedi instructors were cautious to teach her too much all at once out of concern that she may be overwhelmed. She was admitted as a padawan later in her training than most of her peers because of this.

Not long after her graduation, Order 66 was issued. Fate favored her that day, for her new master had taken her on a diplomatic mission on Ord Mantell away from Republic space. With the order issued, Ivaadi's master was given enough time to react and flee toward the Outer Rim. Republic ships pursued them, causing them to crash land on the Mandalorian moon of Concordia. Ivaadi's master died in the crash, leaving her stranded on the foreign moon and presumed dead.

Ivaadi is a young Twi'lek barely into her adult years with pink skin and bright blue eyes. Her lack of experience in the world makes her very emotionally charged, especially while reacting to her fears. She is, however, soft-spoken and careful not to offend. Her natural charisma gives her an air of pleasantness that encourages others around her to lower their guards.
