As a child his father interrupted the abduction of his mother by a squad of Trandoshians led by Grattan Steel by shooting her himself. Before the Trandoshians could turn to attack him, his father takes his own life. He flees into the wilderness and is eventually taken in by a bounty hunter named Fioalla Afu and taught the art of being a galactic bounty hunter. After receiving a bounty on one of Teemo the huts lackeys, he proceeds to Tatooine and is immediately captured and thrown into a damp dark cell to await his eventual torture and death.
