When she was a young girl, Friedo the Hud catched her and made her a slave. She met the Wookie Aktchu and planned their escape. Friedo catched them and Aayla was forced to kill him. She saved Aktchus and her own life but a bounty was set on her head.
Aktchu stayed by her side and she started dancing for money and to live a better life anonymously.
