Ejected from the imperial medical academy for distribution of questionable substances Elridth has lived not quite a charmed life.

He was not like the other students muling away over data pads and theories. He wanted to practice what he read and if that turned a nice profit he hardly saw the harm. However the dean did not agree with Eldrith's attitude.

While he did not complete the program he had been in his final year and so received "almost" a complete education necessary to practice medicine.

Disgraced he traded his skills aboard ships in order to gain passage to other systems and over time left the core worlds behind.

He arrived on planet and began trading medical skills for room and board originally, then for goods, now for hard currency.

Thanks to a shady loan from a local loan shark name Gragst he has opened his own clinic tending to the miners and families. He providing a good service at only a slightly outrageous price but if they don't like it they can go else where. Most don't since Elridth is willing to over look suspicious wounds and mystery overdoses. He doesn't ask questions and keeps patient doctor confidentiality but those services are rolled into the price.

However lately customers have not been coming in asking for him. He's not sure what's happening. Maybe a new clinic opened and is undercutting him, maybe someone is spreading rumors about him chopping up clients, either way all Elridth knows is that collection time from Gragst is around the corner and he's not sure he has it.
