Cus Vask was born to a young couple aboard the pirate vessel, Lover’s Pox, which was out patrolling the lanes in the outer rim. Allegedly he had many fathers, although he never concerned himself too much with that fact of his life. Rather he was too enthralled in the difficult and dangerous life he lived. Occasionally partaking in boarding merchant vessels and shaking down the poor charitable soul. And this would have probably been his profession for life, that is, if he hadn’t been abandoned on a spaceport by a sudden mutiny. With nothing but a few items on hand, he jumped from system to system. Scraping by with whatever credits he could legally get or get could find from “abandoned” wallets.

Now, managing to stumble into some good fortune. Taking a job as a bodyguard on the smugglers moon, and with a small chunk of credits at his disposal. Things are looking up for the young Nikto...

Years before Cus was abandoned, his mother had given birth to another child. A little brother called Rav. And he took on the big brother role as a protector and guardian. Rav was just about to turn 11 went Cus was abandoned. Now, Cus is trying to scrounge up enough money and information to get his little brother out of that nasty business.
