Background

Aotsuki was born 23 years ago on Lantillies, a couple years after the end of the Clone Wars. Daughter of the former Lantillian Senator to the Galactic Senate, Vosta Spark, her family had to go into hiding after the formation of the Empire was voted. Her mother's connections with some Jedi masters made her a target following Order 66, and Vosta prefered abandoning her seat rather than die on it.

The Spark household had to find another way to survive. Hopping from place to place in the Sector, the young Aotsuki grew accustomed to its various planets : 2 years on Uyter, 3 on Gizer. When she was 6 years old, the family stopped on Ondara, where her father Kyros found a job as a repair technician in the capital city of the Kasmir family.

Aotsuki was taught by her mother, especially in the matter of politics and social relationships. She listened carefully, but the kid liked nothing more than to escape her mother's attention and go play in the garage, imitating her father and tinkering on various items to understand how they worked.

After 15 years on Ondara, the family tried to travel back to their homeplanet to visit a dying relative. Sadly, this proved too rash of a decision, and both Vosta and Koros were arrested, for their "connections with the Jedi". As they tried to cover for their daughter, and hide her existence to the Imperial authorities, they were gunned down in the streets of Lantillies due to their non-compliance. Aotsuki escaped, and had to find a way to survive on her own. She found shelter for a while thanks to the LVL housing for the homeless and, after slowly overcoming her traumas, started to integrate the structure, wanting to help the people of her home planet.

Aotsuki had always been a fan of news, and spent hours upon hours keeping up to date with what was happening in the galaxy. The Ondaran Summit was an important event every year, and she made sure not to miss it whenever it happened. The last summit was a revelation for her. She saw the Alliance's diplomats, the Gossam, the bearded human, the Mon Calamari fleet officer, the Drall doctor. She saw the woman with silver hair, and thought "That's what I can do. That's what I need to do."

Thanks to the LVL's connections with the Alliance, she managed to attend a recruitement meeting. She passed the entry tests and joined the Alliance, in the SpecCorps branch. Her goal is now to be able to reach every sentient in the sector, and convince them of one thing : toppling the tyrants.

Motivation

Aotsuki was raised during most of her formative years on Ondara, on the continent of Kasmir. She's viscerally attached to the planet and its people, and she feels a gut punch everytime she realizes a bit better how large the scope of its invasion is. She will do whatever she can to drive them away from this planet, that she calls her home.

Aotsuki was inspired by other diplomats before her, and knows that people need to have an ideal to believe in, as well as a person incarnating that ideal.
She is young, born on Lantillies, grew up on Ondara and from a known family. Aotsuki hopes to be the perfect candidate to embody these ideals, and make them flourish in the hearts and minds of others.

Description

Aotsuki is a 23 y.o. female human, thin, of average height but light weight. She's nicknamed "Tsuki" by almost all the people who know her. She inherited her mother's nose, mouth and hazelnut eyes, but has her father's dark hair.

She's a very positive and motivated individual. Driven and easy-going, she's always willing to make new friends or connections, and is always keen to welcome people who deserted the Empire or changed their positions in regards to the Rebellion. Her dedication however comes with a form of naivety sometimes, as she hasn't experienced the viciousness of life as much as others.
