Background

"Born" During the fading years of the Republic I was commissioned as a field mechanic for The Grand Army of the Republic. I was commissioned to join the 501st Legion, of which my knowledge tells me it was one of the biggest and best legions. My name is derived from a fallen Clone trooper, known to his clone friends as "Fives" but his true name was CT-27-5555, who died in a hospital of unknown reasons.
Being in a few battles, and surviving them was hard, I guess I learned to repair things pretty hastily. One memorable battle was when I went to Utupau, hell, that's the battle that started all of this...But that's for another time...

Anyway! Well, after certain events, and being a droid, I had no choice but to fall in line with the new order of things. Though it wasn't very much to do any more, it was certainly very nice to not be shot at any more.
Aboard the space station "Death Star" one time I was tasked with fixing up a detention block after a breakout. Hell of a mess was made. And what made it worse was the entire comm's console had to be replaced after it had been shot! Who does that sort of thing!?
That was luckily the last time I ever worked on there as I was shipped off immediately. Who knows where to. But all I will say is that I'm thankful. Thankful to whoever intercepted the small Imperial Freighter I was on. I guess I owe my circuits to them, but I don't really remember much, all I do remember is "waking" up one day in a dark place, with a short, dark blonde human male looking at me

Other Notes

Special Abilities: Droids do not need to eat, sleep, or breathe, and are unaffected by toxins and poisons. Droids have a cybernetic implant cap of 6 instead of their Brawn rating. In addition, after selecting a career, a droid PC may train one rank each in six of the eight career skills (instead of the usual four). After selecting a specialization, a droid PC may train one rank in each in the three of the four specialization skills (instead of the usual two).

Inorganic: Since droids are inorganic, they do not gain the benefits of recovering with a bacta tank, a stimpack, or Medicine skill checks. Droids do recover naturally by resting, as their systems attempt self-repairs. if self-repair is not adequately effective, a droid needs to be tended to with a Mechanics check, using the same difficulties and results as Medicine checks for organic beings. Emergency repair patches can be used to repair damage, just like stimpacks can be used on organic beings. See page 232 (AoR Core) for more on droid repairs and healing. Due to their resilient metallic construction, droids start the game with one rank in the Enduring talent.

Mechanical Being: Droids cannot become Force-sensitive nor acquire a Force rating by any means. Droids cannot use Force powers and also cannot be affected by mind-altering Force powers

Custom Tool Kit: grants the user who this was made for [boost die] to any skill check made to maintain or repair an item, computer, weapon, vehicle or starship. A character trying to use there tools suffer [setback]

Rocket booster (jetpack) "A jet pack allows a person to function as a Sihouette of 1, speed 2, handling 0 System Strain 3 vehicle that can only operate in atmosphere and requires Piloting(planetary) to operate."
