Poor and Hungry
Taken away from his home-world at an early age by his parents on an exploration mission of far away ruins, he was left alone when his parents died suddenly in a dig 'accident.' Forced to fend for himself at a young age, he fends for himself as he can only trust what he is able to accomplish.
Pragmatic Power
The force is something that comes naturally to him. There is no mysticism or far away lore. The force is simply an ability that lets him get through troublesome situations with the quickest of ease. Willing to use the force in any way deemed necessary in order to provide for himself.
Survivor
He fends for himself, if adventure finds him, he will do what he must to ensure his survival. Tricks of the trade, beneficial 'friends,' lucky outcomes. Whatever it takes to be safe. Moral boundaries are seen as a luxury that he does not have.

True to his racial for-bearers, he has an insatiable thirst to learn new things. Not for pure knowledge sake, but to help him succeed in the world on his own. Knowledge is power, and he wants all there is at any cost... that is not his own.

Reason (strength)
The character is able to look at situations objectively, and observe the natural state of things without being influenced by strong emotions. Emotions get you into trouble, who needs them. Pure facts is all that is needed to make a decision. What helps me the most in the short and long term.
Apathy (weakness)
The character's skills at detached observation can often lead to cold pragmatism in which the emotional cost of choices is not taken into consideration. But if there is no emotion, there is no weakness.
