Kilimar was a youngling at the Temple on Coruscant, when Order 66 happened. His natural ability with precognition alerted him to the impending danger, but he saw no path that would let him stop what was coming. At the time, he was with an older student, Zett Jukata, and the two of them used their small size, and his precognition to avoid the patrols. They were about to make their way to an exit ramp, when they saw a squad of troopers blocking the landing pad. They saw a man with regal bearing, exit a speeder, and speak to the troopers. He clearly wanted into the Temple, but was barred entry. Kilimar saw what Zett was about to do, and tried desperately to stop him, but he wouldn't listen. Zett told Kilimar to stay hidden, and he would deal with the squad of Troopers, and then they could both escape on the speeder with the man. In vain, Kilimar reached out to stop Zett, but he was already moving. He watched as his young friend valiantly fought against the squad, doing well with his element of surprise. For a moment, Kilimar thought that his precog might be wrong, and his friend would survive...and then the blaster shot hit Zett in the back.
Kilimar's own scream of pain was drowned out by the man from the speeder, screaming as well in shock and outrage. He wisely fled the scene, while the remaining troopers kicked the corpse of his friend to make sure he was dead.
Nearly blinded by tears, Kilimar fled into the depths of Coruscant. His small size and precog allowed him to narrowly escape the Temple, using air ducts and sewer drains, always going down, down, into the blackness of Coruscant Under.
He spent most of his young life simply surviving in the under-levels of Coruscant. In the forever night of the depths, the only light he ever knew was the fluorescent lights of the stores and homes that made up the world he now lived in. He scrounged to survive, and did odd jobs for people now and then, his ability with words allowing him some comfort from those he charmed into giving him shelter and food. For the most part though, he just stayed off the radar, but he never forgot the sacrifice of his friend Zett.
As he grew older, he began to try and hone his ability with precognition, channeling his natural ability into his Force training, to impressive results. As he began to stretch his mystical wings, he began to think about a long forgotten burning in his heart, ever since that fateful day. He wanted to bring down the Empire, to see the people who destroyed his world, and killed his friends pay for what they did. He just couldn't see the future that let him do that....not yet. Always pushing, he constantly seeks to find his Golden Path forward. The set of choices that will bring about the end of the Empire, and some closure to his past.
So it came as quite a surprise to Kilimar, when he found himself caught unawares by a man in black robes, who stepped out of the shadows, seemed to know who he was, and knocked him out with a stun attack. The last thought he had before blacking out was "Well isn't that a load of poodoo."
Cause: Overthrow the Empire.
Kilimar still remembers how Order 66 destroyed his life, and the death of his friend Zett Jukata. He has let his desire to see the Empire fall slowly grow over time, until it has bloomed into a life goal for him.
Caution: The character possesses commendable prudence, willing to always look before he leaps into a new situation. His forward-thinking ways may have saved his fellows from dangerous situations on numerous occasions.
Fear: The line between fear and caution is a thin one. Sometimes the character spends too much time concerned about the potential problems of a situation to act in that situation at all. At other times, his caution causes him to flee when danger presents itself, though bolder action might reap real rewards.
Kilimar's skin is a soft brown tone, his horns curling down close to his chin. In his early 20's.
His demeanor is one of quiet and stillness. He often reacts to things being said before they are said, handing people objects they didn't yet ask for, etc.
He tries to reign it in, but his natural ability for precognition, and his Force ability of Foresee, tend to keep the Iktotchi youth constantly in his own head. He is capable of socializing with others just fine, and used that ability to help him survive on the streets, but if given the opportunity, he will begin to look forward as best he can.
