Background
Led a group of fresh recruits against the imperial garrison on his home planet during the early days of the rebellion, in hopes of impressing them and being offered a place in the alliance. Lost his entire formation to an imperial super commando ambush and was the only survivor. Went into hiding and spent this time studying military strategy and galactic history so that he would never find himself surprised by a foe again. Feels unworthy of being at home on Mandalore and so has gone off in search of a new force to lead, and a new fight to fight. He was found hiding in a cave alongside a few other locals not far from our landing zone during the raid against Mandal motors.
His armor was destroyed in combat, further wounding his pride, he seeks to replace it as it was deemed impossible to repair. He hopes to take his newfound knowledge and make a name in the private military industry as a consultant, training a new generation of officers concerned equally with saving lives as with taking them. His first job was to replace the leader of 1st legion, 4th platoons, 1st squad's red team and he will be bringing his men with him to replace their sister fireteam who were all lost during the retrieval of the Tragic Hope during a previous operation. This is his chance to restore his honor, and to test his new knowledge.
Following early successes, his entire squad was killed by the traitor Thion. But this time it was not due to tactical blunder, it was due to his team putting him above themselves. After all the times he'd saved these men, they returned the favor quite heroically. Vox is once more filled with purpose to honor their memory by continuing past his obstacles and becoming a still better leader. Vynerr in particular will be missed.
Motivation
Duties
(9) Loss Prevention: Ensuring that their troops are as safe as possible under battlefield conditions is these Commanders' primary concern. They never send their troops into hopeless situations in which defeat is certain, preferring instead to preserve their unit’s strength for meaningful battles if sacrifices must be made. If taken too far, this ideology can result in weak commanding officers who lose ground because they aren’t even willing to try. They may gain a reputation for cowardice, which harms both discipline and their own chances for advancement.
