Klyf grew up around entertainers, his father having mild success as a travelling comedian. He never really developed a talent for it himself, but he did learn that it was the hangers on, the agents, the managers, etc, that learned to tell the talent good stories, that ended up making credits. Over time, Klyf developed his own talent for spinning a good yarn, and often gets by as a con artist. Though he’s never really come by that big score, he’s chipping away at it, and currently he’s got the ownership of a tramp freighter, which brings a lot of freedom with it. Over the years there have been times when his lying, scheming ways have fallen through. At times like these he’s come to rely on a couple of associates, the smooth talking Dorian, who’s gotten him out of a few jams with his heartfelt sincerity and soothing tongue, and the intimidating Thissk, who has a talent for stopping fights before they can begin.
