Background
Pil, within what she suspects was months of her birth, was sold into slavery. Odd for a Dorin native, but she suspects that her silver irises had something to do with it. Good thing the goggles cover those up.
Regardless, Pil spent a larger part of her childhood doing the menial and planet-hopping work of slavery. It was not a good experience, yes, and it did not do her any long term favors, but it was the first time she was told how to use her powers. Pil still doesn't know what or who keeps telling her how, but the results are there. She could make people feel things. Like confusion, stupidity. Fear. Anger. Rage.
Was it useful? Hardly, sometimes. But she could get herself put above the rest with it. That meant fewer punishments for her, fewer stunnings, fewer Truncheons. Sometimes she wondered why it was hard to make people happy, but it wasn't her place to question the voice. 'Happy' wasn't her job, her job was the anger, the rage.
One day, on a year she can't exactly remember, people came in. They bought all the slaves and moved them somewhere for 'rehabilitation'. They were nice. No more Truncheons. They were Kel Dor too. They started teaching everyone things too. Math, sciences, actual wages. She was even given a Mandoviol to practiced. It was a wonderful thing, the Mandoviol. She could even make people happy with it for a while.
But she didn't deserve it, this nice-ness. She could only anger people! There were better people out there. There were other slaves that didn't get bought. Why didn't they get this? Why was she chosen? Her treatment was an injustice. Things are not supposed to be like this.
Pil left the 'rehab' place for the streets of Bogden. She could earn money like those street performers with the Mandoviol. Maybe some smuggler asks her to help them, no big deal. Nice credits. Maybe some imperials come around and ask a few questions, no big deal. Who'll miss 'em?
But now, the voice that has been telling them to use her powers has become a bit more vocal. Or mental-vocal? Doesn't matter. Pil feels the need to move beyond her spot as a manipulative street musician. Something great lies beyond, she's told. It sounds hard, but it wasn't her place to question.
Motivation
The Cosmic Force: The powers Pil possess has governed her life, and she sees the effect it has on others as well. Although she's far from knowing it's inner workings, much less talking openly about it, Pil Konip puts a lot of value onto this power she controls and her place with it. Exploring the full extent of it's workings is an attractive idea to Pil.
Discovery: Whatever the voice tells her to do, she does. While most of this comes from a fear of mightier powers, there is a small part of Pil that wonders about the voice. What it's trying to lead her to.
Morality
Morallity: 29
Strength: Discipline
Musicians practice their craft excessively, as does Pil. The patience and will required has given them a focus on work given to them.
Weakness: Weakness.
Pil will often become intimidated by the power of others. Security, imperials, the voice; They all strike a fear and compliance into her that can only be negated by the most strenuous of circumstance.
Description
A rather rugged female Kel Dor, many wouldn't be surprised to hear that she considers Bogden as the closest thing to a home she's had.
Pil outfit is comprised of dark, semi-formal Bith clothing reminiscent of actual musicians. A survival backpack and a clear outline of a larger-than-holdout blaster in her pocket betrays the pure musician image, but what can you do? Not go around without a blaster? In Bogden?
The Kel Dor's skin is nothing unusual, if a shade brighter than normally expected. Their goggles and mask is typical for a Kel Dor, if not for the goggle's extra-tinted quality.
