Background

Zaal is a self-proclaimed scholar, having roots on his species' home world of Gand. Though he spent most of his early life following the strictly religious, borderline xenophobic ways of most of the others on his home planet, the young Gand soon found himself with a growing hunger for knowledge beyond what his family and peers could provide, as well as a curiosity over his budding connection to the Force.

Eventually, Zaal managed to beg and plead enough to get one of his more traveled friends to take him off planet, dropping him at the nearest spaceport and leaving him to find his own way. Zaal now wanders the galaxy, learning whatever he can.

Motivation

Knowledge - Zaal seeks to become a true scholar of the Jedi and the Force, as well as in general. He shows an especially strong interest in history and ancient Jedi artifacts.
