Background
Jym Barnezz served as security on Research Station Shantipole in the Roche Asteroid belt.
When the Empire became aware of Project Shanitpole, they blockaded the system. However, the Rebels broke the blockade with the B-wing prototypes and blew up Research Station Shantipole, leaving many Verpine homes destroyed.
Jym, found asylum with the Rebellion in the Taldot sector where he was informally referred to as Buggy.
His battle acumen was quickly nourished and his familiarity aboard space faring vessels gave him an edge, he was eventually recruited into the 1st SpecForce Regiment, or the SpaceOps Marines to lead a squad tasked with providing cover to the engineering and scientists of the Alliance tasked with recovering any valuable tech.
However, a boarding mission gone wrong left his whole team killed or MIA and himself captured. Separated from the Alliance, Buggy had resolved himself for a lifetime working the Spice mines, that is until he was given a second chance.
Rescued during Operation Close Vassal, he was taken back to Sector Force Lantillies where he will begin a new to right his wrongs.
Motivation
**Motivation:** Drive to Redemption
> Buggy has done something terrible in the line of duty and feels that he must somehow redeem himself. Whatever it is he thinks he’s done—sending troops to their deaths, giving an order that resulted in civilian casualties, or failing to accomplish an objective—influences every order he gives and every decision he makes.
Duties
**Duty:** Tech Procurement
> Buggy asks for ingenuity and innovation from his troops. Even if his unit isn’t gifted with state-of-the-art weapons, he expect them to use what they have to the best of their ability, and to make improvements where they can in order to improve their situation. Buggy is often more concerned with subordinates who are technologically or mechanically inclined, leaning on them to provide an extra edge for the rest of their unit.
