Background

Jos was born at a MidRim World under strong Imperial presence.Growing up, being in the military seemed to be a safe and fruitful endeavour, provided one survives war, so he signed up. He became a stormtrooper.
His supervisors recognized his keenness to fight, his talent in leading small teams, so he started stepping up the ladder: he became a sergeant quickly.
His first assignment as a sergeant was on the Impenetrable Void over Ord Cantrell. Although he was doing his best to lead his squad, he did suffer losses: when attacking a smuggler base, when they were trying to apprehend criminals on planetside. He always tried to lead by example.
When he and his squad attempted to capture a person who attempted to assassinate the planetary governor, he listened to one of his new additions to the team and didn't level a building where the criminal was hiding. He got some flak for that. But when the new addition deserted along with some alien, his superiors accused him with capital crimes. Dunnlane was outrageous, but he had his senses with him. Before the sentence, he was able to get away.
From this point onward, Dunnlane has been living the life of a criminal. It wasn't something that he particularly enjoyed but this was what he had to do now. This is how he ended up at the entrance of the Blasted Asteroid.

Motivation

Companions: he used to be a medic at the Navy, so he tries to make sure everyone can go home to their families.

Obligations

+10 Criminal: Dunnlane is accused with treason and fleeing from justice: crimes that are punishable by death before a court martial.
Favor (10): When running away from the justice system of the Empire, he was able to get help from a criminal on the rise, Kiinon. Of course, Kiinon never does anything for free. He helped Dunnlane get away, but he doesn't let this favor be forgotten.

Description

Tall, pale skinned, blond man with grey eyes. Burly, muscular, but has surprisingly efficient moves, there's grace in his actions whenever he assembles his trusted blaster rifle Ruby.

He has some memoirs from firefights and melees past all over his body in the form of scars, burn marks. He takes great care in maintaining his body, his armor, his weapons. All immaculate at any given non-combat moment.

He has grown... disillusioned in the last year. He feels that people and institutions have wronged him and is a bit distrustful. In action, just like outside it, though, he is trying his best to cover all bases: he doesn't like to be surprised.

Has a dark, dry sense of humor.
