Born on Nar Shaddaa, Oola was found at a slightly older age than most younglings would begin their training by her master Lun Pyra a Human male Jedi master who practices Shii-Cho. Growing up was difficult for Oola as since she was on Nar Shaddaa for so long her attitude and view on life was at conflict with the ways of the Jedi often. Also she is useless at physical combat and Lun would push her hard trying to impart his skills onto her. One one occasion of practice where Lun pushed Oola too hard she spontaneously used Unleash upon her master learning she had a natural affinity for the power. Fearing this would lead her down a Dark path, Lun sent Oola to the temple on Dantooine to train with someone better suited to the use of the Force. Oola learned to harness the destructive power into a more defensive form (Protect) and vowed to never use Unleash again. Oola and Lun were reunited many years later when Revan was fighting the Mandalorian Wars. Master Lun was firmly on the side of the Revanchists and brought Oola during many fights of the conflict. When the war was over and Revan was preparing to leave for the Unknown Regions, Lun ordered Oola to return to the Jedi Council. This was devastating to Oola, as her master was abandoning her and leaving her in the charge of a group he had been telling her for years was wrong in many aspects of the Galaxy and the Force. This has left Oola with a huge chip on her shoulder, feeling shunned by her master and disillusioned with the Jedi council.
