Born 30 BBY, Alex Antares comes from a long line of bounty hunters. Many of his extended family works for a various Houses and for different reasons. However his father believed he could live his life differently. As a young man he studied business and engineering, becoming successful in both. He helped design several patents for the Republic and later the Empire. With that money he was able to successfully finance his family and lifestyle.

As a boy Alex grew up in the lap of luxury on the planet of Delaya in the Alderaan System. He idolized his uncle Barett Antares, who was known as a master hunter. When he came of age he successfully got his uncle to train him to become a bounty hunter. After a few years under his tutelage he was good enough to be officially let into House Salaktori. A few months into his tenure his father came to him with a deal. In one of his early business ventures, his father signed a contract to marry off Alex to his father's business partner daughter.

Alex initially refused the deal believing that it was morally questionable. However his father convinced him to at least meet with the girl. Upon meeting with Kara Varss he soon came around on the deal. He found Kara to be a strong, independent soul who wasn't one to be played for a fool. She also disagreed with the contract and wanted to continue her life as a doctor. After hours of talking and arguing they both came to an understanding. Kara found him to be a stubborn man who had a good heart underneath all of his gruff exterior. They agreed to be married but both was allowed to keep their independence. Without saying it they loved each other in their unique way. Eventually producing 3 children and living on Delaya. Where they watched as Alderaan was destroyed by the Empire. A few days later Alex joined the Rebel Alliance.

Extended Family/Clan: The character has a family at home that he wants to protect. He has a decent level of contacts thanks to his family connections.

Family: Alex deeply cares about his family and never wants to see something like what happened to Alderaan happen again. So it was only natural for him to join the Rebels.

As a boy he was known for a skinny slender frame, but as he grew he eventually filled out. Becoming quite tall and athletic thanks to his uncle's train regimented.
