Background

Rubble. Sulfur. The last pheromone traces of his fellow warriors. All of it lingered in the air as a Melitto pulled himself out of a small weapons locker, clutching the last sword it once held. Around him laid the bodies of the last remaining soldiers of his hive, crushed by debris. Unable to look at their twisted corpses any longer, he looks up to the sky, rolling clouds and falling brimstone revealed to him. With a deep breath, the Melitto starts climbing, leaving the last remains of his fallen castle behind him.

Reaching the top of the pit, Jasco takes a moment to rest, his mind running at hyperspeed to process what had happened. Betrayal, treachery, death. The queen dead at his feet, skewered by his uncle's weapon. Being thrown in a cell, pleading for his freedom. An army, one more numerous and better trained than could be handled. The guards to his cell being called to defend what little they could from the invaders.

Standing up and continuing his journey across the broken landscape, Jasco looks at the blade in his hand. He'd broken out of his cell, and with some fast talking, convinced his fellow soldiers to let him fight, to die in the defense of his hive. But before he could regain his honor, a massive shockwave shook the hive, causing wide ranging cave-ins. Only the weapons locker he drew the blade from saved him, barely able to shield him from the crushing debris.

He was a Ronin now, a hiveless soldier, only worth the strength of his arm and his skill in subterfuge. Working the underworld as a spy wasn't fun, but it made him a living to keep pursuing his true goal. That was, until he found the Alliance. Now, with people he found to be noble, kind, and good, he found himself almost at home once more.

Motivation

Secret (Retrieval)- Only through knowing your opponent are wars won. If Jasco wants to put an end to the bloodshed and the oppressive rule of the others, he's going to have to struggle against those who don't want their secrets to see the light of day, to break down their defenses and steal those secrets from under their noses, or from their cold dead hands.

Duties

Duty- Resource Acquisition

Losing his hive due to resource and intelligence scarcity has left Jasco with a compulsive desire to gather as much data and resources as possible to keep it from happening again. Physical goods, actionable intel, raw data. All of it is something for Jasco to acquire and use to bolster the walls of his new kingdom, in which he has sworn to defend.
