The T7 was an astromech droid series used in the days of the Old Republic, especially during the Great Galactic War.

During the Great Galactic War, a smuggler named Nico Okarr was in possession of one such droid, which would later become possession of the Jedi Knight known as Hero of Tython.

Around the year 3641 BBY, combat upgrades that were available to the T7-series were manufactured on Nar Shaddaa, and considered by some to be of the finest quality available.
