Journey
Hal was born on Centerpoint Station to a large human family. His father flew a fighter in the Corellian System Defense Navy, and his mother was a mechanic. Hal himself was trained to pilot transport bulk freighters, not wishing to join the SDN like his father. He found the work boring, but it helped his family make ends meet. When his youngest sister fell ill from a strange wasting disease it stretched the finances of the family even further. Hal worked hard to help his family and was devastated when he learned his sister passed away. He took his Sister's Soul Diamond and vowed to show her the wonders of the Galaxy.

He scrapes what credits he can doing odd jobs across the fringes of the core and outer rim systems. Flying freighters and bulks under the employ of many groups. He is skilled at navigating the countless regulations that exist in the trade of goods across systems (And by skilled, we mean he smuggles for the right price.) He ran blockades at the height of the Clone Wars, both for Corporations affiliated with the Republic and the Separatists. When the Clone Wars ended, and the Empire rose out of the ashes of Republic business was more or less the same. He continues to run material and goods for anyone with the coin.

Hal has worked closely with the Bounty Hunter Mxadreel Ithra, serving as a combat infil and exfil pilot, getting the crew into and out of dangerous situations.

Capitalism:
Hal's biggest motivation is getting credits. For various reasons. But beyond his desire to see gains in his accounts, he works for free trade and fewer regulations on business to make his business more lucrative.
Personnel:
Hal's loyalty is less to the empire and more to the people who flies under his care. He takes a great deal of pride in his ability to fly a strike team under the nose of the enemy and even more in ensuring each person comes back on his boat.

He was deeply connected to his sister before she died. He secretly taught his ailing sister to fly, taking her around the system and showing her the wonders of space. When she died, Hal was crippled by his grief. He stole the Soul Diamond and wears it on his neck, he would do anything to protect the soul of his sister, and seeks to show her the wonders of the galaxy as he explores with her. He also sends credits back home, helping to keep his family afloat in the weak economy of the empire.

Hal is an almost lanky human, born on Centerpoint Station. His hair is a short, but well combed, auburn hair. His eyes are a bright hazel, sharp and watching. His clothes are neat, but simple and many years out of date, but the heavy blaster pistol on his hip usually keeps insults to a minimum. He carries everything he owns on his back, and flies whatever ship the contract asks him to fly.
