Born and raised in the underbelly of Taris, Shilla Sevac quickly learned to live off the scraps that the wealthy discarded from above. The scrap and trash that fell through the cracks of society fed, housed, and provided for her survival and prosperity in every walk of life. Shilla knew that nobody lived a long and healthy life in wastelands like this though, so she began planning for a way out.

Plenty of ships on Taris were hiring crew, but the finer ships would never accept some street rat Trandoshan like her. Luckily, she was fine with the ships that looked like they were pulled out of a scrap yard. The familiarity would even benefit her, and who else could keep them running for long? The captain was very vague about their destination and objectives, so Shilla just accepted the idea that they were running basic smuggling and salvage jobs. She had no idea that their work was for the sole benefit of the Rebellion against the Empire until she was finally let in on the secret.
