Background
Gilgaroth has lived for several hundred years, as many members of his species can. He has heard of the rise of a multitude of Jedi, claiming the title of Sith, only to watch them fall to the more pure brethren. He has seen the birth of navicomputers, the discovery of bacta, the discovery of Kaashyyk, the first visits to Tatooine, and more.
Originally trained as a Jedi, Gilgaroth eventually left the order when he was a few decades old, leaving his saber behind. Something was wrong, considering how often people struggled to live the life properly, and he decided to look for something more. Most of the terrible things that happened in the galaxy were on a small scale and he felt little need to intervene. The greater things were usually solved before he had even heard about it.
He went from planet to planet, helping people where he could, making money, occasionally settling down. He lived as a farmer for many decades, an explorer, a mercenary. Then, he had begun to hear rumors of the Mandalorians. Their assaults on other planets and the number of extinction events they caused enraged Gilgaroth. He wondered why the Jedi would not assist, but when he heard that Revan and Malak were leading a group to end the wars once and for all, he went with.
Though he had taken lives before, the scale of death he found himself dishing out was surreal. The Republic annihilated the Mandalorians at every turn, obliterating them through brutal tactics designed by the extremely intelligent minds of Revan and Malak. Eventually, the death weighed on Gilgaroth. He knew that this must be done, but such things wear differently on those with a connection to the Force. When the war seemed like it was near completion, Gilgaroth abandoned his post. Though weakly connected to the Force, premonitions of the future caused him to have a bad feeling of who he might become should he see the conflict to the end. He returned, and waited.
When the Empire returned, Gilgaroth knew that he had made the right choice. This threat was one of the greatest that he had ever seen in the galaxy, a true threat to the status quo. Grabbing his axe, he set off to kill the threats that the Jedi would not, aiming to bring peace to the galaxy once more.
Motivation
Morality
Enthusiasm - Recklessness
Bravery - Anger
Gilgaroth enjoys a challenge. He is enthusiastic about doing cool things, experiencing things he hasn't experienced in his lifetime. This sometimes turns to recklessness; case in point, he attempted some maneuvers in a ship that he was not prepared for and crashed. This is where he recieved his cybernetics.
Likewise, he is brave for the same reason. He is willing to stand up to things, face any enemy, etc. But, he occasionally uses anger to fuel himself. Anger hones the mind, gives focus, gives purpose.
[Hes like a viking berserker]
