Background

Going back to when he was a young hatchling Vranko was like many of his species were raised to hunt. His family in particular were into the Wookiee slave trade. While growing up he trained to hunt and capture Wookiees much like his siblings.

However later when he was 19, with several captured Wookiees under his belt, he encountered a particular Wookiee while out patrolling a uncommon path his hunting parties took. This Wookiee dropped from a tree not far from where Vranko was moving, the Wookiee had taken notice and taunted Vranko. As expected lead to a chase through the woods till Vranko lost sight of the clever Wookiee after a series of distractions made by the fleeing Wookiee. Vranko, enraged by losing his target would come to realize he would eventually run into him again, not once but quite a few times.

Many of times Vranko would run into this Wookiee and lose track of said this fairly decent sized Wookiee, much to his agitation at this fact of being outsmarted so often to the point he was more focused on finding this one in particular than other prey. Around 2 years of on and off encounters with this Wookiee it slowly became more of a game between the two. This time Vranko had the Wookiee at a base of a cliff in a corner where the plants were far too frail for the Wookiee to climb without falling to it's death. It was at this point Vranko began to question himself; "Why am I having this much fun hunting one lousy Wookie when I could hunt others over all this time?" and "What is this feeling of dread of this game ending now...?". After much internal thought, Vranko did something at the time would change his course of hunting slowly, he let the Wookiee go. The Wookiee, understandably at first was rather confused but didn't think on it hard by the looks of things. This Wookiee, which he'd learn the name of Tvrram soon after this exchange, would develope into a friendship that would throw Vranko into shame amongst his family.

2 more years later after a few encounters with Tvrram would Vranko actually refer to this Wookie as a friend, while hiding this fact from his family. Vranko and Tvrram hunted normal game and trained various technques, to which Vranko enjoyed trying out Tvrram's Bowcaster on occasion. However one day his Father had come back with more Wookiees with which were going to be traded into slavery, sadly he reckonized one of these Wookiees. Tvrram, of all the Wookiees to have been capture by his Father. Amidst the night he confronted Tvrram in his holding cell the night before the their departure, while struggling with the knowledge his friend had been captured and his family would likely not care for such a thought of prey being called a friend.

While talking things out with Tvrram, Vranko came to a decision and broke the lock to Tvrram's cage. To which both Vranko and Tvrram sprung more Wookiees and told them to get out of the camp, no detours, to which they complided. This would end short as they were making there way to one last set of cages, Vranko took a blaster butt to the gut from around a corner and hear a shot ring out as he fell to his knees and looked back to see Tvrram fall to the ground. When he looked up to who was responsible it was his elder brother and father. All while assuming his Wookiee friend was dead as he knew his Father likely was disgusted by this turn of events. His Father kneed him in the side to make him on his back and muttered to Vranko. "Over 34 Wookiees freed by you... Y-you have strayed from the family to befriend and help Wookiees, our prey, our source of wealth? You are no son of mine, you are no hunter, you traitor!" His brother then kicked Vranko in the face, knocking him out.
Next when he would awaken he found himself locked in a cage like many of the Wookiees that he'd failed to rescue the night before and a large freighter was making landfall and he knew this ship as the Imperial transport for taking the new slaves to be distributed to various Empire construction sites to be slave labour. Vranko, along with the Wookiees were brought aboard after a explaination of why a lone Trandoshan was in a cage with the new "line-up". The Imperial officer that was in charge decided he'd be more useful to a Hutt and decided to use him as a token to be traded for information useful to the Empire's efforts to quelling the Rebellion.

Motivation

Freedom: The absolute and autocratic rule of the Emperor is an offense to this Player Character's core beliefs about governments and politics. He might, in fact, oppose central authoritarianism in all forms, yet see the Alliance as a "lesser evil' he can deal with after the Empire is brought down.

Obligations

Combat Victory: The Player Character is driven to show that the Alliance can hold its own against Imperial forces in any troop vs. troop engagement. He wants to engage the Empire's military—their best, whenever possible—and provide more victories for the Alliance to tout to the galaxy as proof it can ultimately win the war. This means daring raids, excellent tactics, and acquiring the best firepower possible.

Description

Vranko is a 25 year old, male Trandoshan standing at 5'9, that has a orange eyes, a scar on the left side of his mouth from his encounter before his enslavement. His skin has a more of a dark green to a odd blue.
