Background

Garon was given to the Jedi order when he was very young. As such he never knew his parents. He spent years training with the other younglings, but he hardly had any friends. Many saw Garon as a big bumbling brute and gave him a wide berth. Because of his solitude, he often distanced himself and can come across as being bit blunt. Many of the masters sensed a budding anger within him and as such, no one wanted to train him.

A whipid and Jedi Knight named Hakkar saw a challenge in Garon - presented by the force to test Hakkar. He wanted to curb "The Gundark's" anger, and anchor him to the light of the Force. For years Garon trained under his master. Though he taught him how to use a lightsaber, the Besalisk preferred his bare fists.

One day while on a mission to chase down an Agent of the Sith, Hakkar was ambushed and defeated by a Sith Lord. This sent Garon into a blind fury. It was only by the will of the Force did he survive the encounter, with only a scar on his face as a souvenir of the Sith Lord who got away. After that fateful encounter, Garon swore to avenge his master and destroy the Sith for good.

He is now on an hunt to find a fabled artifact. One that he heard will harden his body and strengthen his muscles. Legends say that the artifact will even allow the wielder to catch the blade of his lightsaber with his bare hands. He is not sure if such a relic exists, but he knows that if he can find it, he will be able to use its power to destroy the Sith.

It was during his journey that he entered a cryostasis for 3 millennia. Little does he know that in his slumber the war he had been fighting continued to wage. The Galaxy is a different place.
