Always an oddball growing Bradik looked to the stars and wondered what was out there and hung out with her male family. Her mother the Matriarch of the "Family" let her get away with anything. She thought that Bradik would settle down as she aged, and learn her rightful place as a female. On Bradik's 24th Breechday she stowed away on a freighter with her brother Galen. Her brother got of the ship after the first jump to steal some food, and she has not seen him since. Now she plies her wiles and cunning seeking to prove that females can find their place among the stars. She always keeps her ear to the ground for word of her brother, but dares not seek out her family in fear that they will make her come home, and take her place in society.

It wasn't long after the Howling Gundark had entered Hyper space a second time that she was "discovered" by the crew. The captain of the crew was a graying old wookie named Crooloo. him and the rest had actually taken payment from her brother to get them off planet. He was on the run from an Trandoshan hunter named Hishto that had been hounding him for years, he took off after his trade deal turned out to be a trap. Crooloo had barely made it back to his ship, and taken off immediately. The translator droid LR-N0 was the only other crew member that had made it back to the ship. Crooloo swears that he didn't see Galen fall in the battle, and agreed to take her on as crew. After a few months traveling with Crooloo she found that she didn't need the translator anymore. She learned a lot in her time aboard the Howling Gundark, After few month's Crooloo's health continued to decline. They were on Gerrenthum when she came back to dock after a quick "resupply" trip to find Crooloo's headless body where the ship had been.

Bradik longs to explore all the stars, and has the wanderlust often associated with the males of her species

Bradik lives in fear of being forced to return to her Homeworld.
To prevent this she has done her best to diguise herself as a unknown alien dieing her fur blue, she diguises her horn buds and wears loose clothing and hoods to prevent people from seeing her for what she truly is. She has the skill to pull off this deception and has even fooled the few Devaranians she has come across.
