Background
HONOR
On the farm moon of Concord. A family was preparing for the day of hard labor. The father turned the engine on the harvester, taking it out to the field to reap that years yield. The mother and two of the kids were washing clothes, leaving the oldest to tend to the animals out back. About mid-day when the work for the mom and the two little ones had finished and they were inside making lunch; there came the sound of a blaster shot from outside. The mother told the two little ones to hide, as she went outside. There was a scream of pain, followed by another blaster shot. The two were huddled together in the closet under the clothes. A voice came from the door of the room, “Hey come out, it’s safe.”
They didn’t recognize the voice. “The people who killed your parents are gone, we chased them away.”
The kids did not move. The younger of the two started to cry at hearing that their parents were dead. The older one tried to comfort the younger. When the door of the closet opened and a hand was reaching out towards them. “Please come with me, I will protect you.” Dan'do drew back while covering his sister, “W-who are you?”
A smile grew on the young man's face, “Vizsla”
Years had passed since they lost their parents and there Brother disappeared. Dan'do and Cher’ie were now apart of Deathwatch fighting their hated rivals; the so-called Mandalorians in a horrible civil war. Cher'ie was deadly with a vibrorapier, silence and stealth were her allies. Yet she never attacked anyone from behind. She would say there was no honor in that. Dan'do was a competent pilot and a strong leader. Many of the battles they fought in were against other soldiers. However, the targets became more increasingly civilian. This gave Dan'do a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. Like some how this was familiar.
There was a camp on a moon in the system, where a group was looking for a sacred temple. The Deathwatch Commander wanted them to attack the camp. He thought it might be just to scare them away, however it didn't turn out that way. Most were killed were they stood. Although, there was a Dathomirian kid was putting up one hell of a fight. Dan'do got a vision of a sword sliding in his neck. Quickly he armed his grenade and threw it near the living weapon. Once the area was clear they left. On the transport he reflected what he felt and saw. He felt like his movement was more Enhanced. He thought back to stories about the Jedi and the Sith. He remembered a story about a mandalorian who had joined the Jedi. He figured that he would keep this abilities to himself.
Another fight on Concord made Dan'do decide where his life was going to head. The sight of his commander bringing two young children out of a house after a raid. Once the children were gone Dan'do asked his Commander “What are we going to do with the kids?”
“We are going to train them to fight our enemy.”
Dan'do understood that he was tricked into fighting a war that he did not truly understand. Later, he tried talking about it with his little sister Cher'ie, but she wasn't having any of it.
“You sound like those weak people we fight.”
“Exactly, ‘Weak people didn't kill our parents. It was people like us.”
“Okay Brother, you want to be a Watuun, fine get out of here I won't stop you. But if you get caught I will be the first one to put a bolt in you.”
After that difficult conversation Dan'do stole a troop carrier and escaped into the night under a lie. That was the last time the siblings saw each other on peaceful terms.
Another five years went by, Dan'do worked as a hired mercenary from time to time, from cantina to cantina.
Mostly jobs he took were one man jobs. He became disinterested working with people who had no tactical since. One job he had put him in the cross hairs of the famous bounty hunter Jango Fett. After that long fight and holding his own, Fett asked him, “ Do you wanted to make a lot of credits?”
“That's all I want.”
From there Fett took him to kamino, where Dan'do trained clones to be Republic commandos.
After leaving the Deathwatch, Dan'do used the money he earned to buy modified clone armor. Painting it gunmetal grey with a matte finish. He also asked for an altered clone helmet and painted red on the top in the shape of an upside down triangle. He purchased the DC-17m with the attachments. With the whole thing put together he appeared to be from a nightmare. The only thing that stood out was the helmet. He left it white except for the red, so the clones could easily identify him on the battlefront. And to embrace his new family.
Volunteering for the war, there was no question about it. He fought with most of the troopers he trained. He sent his Commandos to destroy a droid factory during the fighting. However he saw a vision of them being ambushed. there comms were dark and this made him nervous. So, he requested for another Commando squad, which was lead by Boss. While a squad of clone troopers and himself went after his commandos. Unfortunately, he only found Darmen. The rest were killed in the ambush. Boss and his squad finished the job, though. Back on the Gunship tired and hungry, Dan'do foresaw that this might be a long war. He checked his ammo, vacuum sealed his suit and closed the Gunship door as they left the planets atmosphere.
Motivation
Revenge-- Fight is all he knows, that and a name; Vizsla. If he got the chance he would hold him wrap his hand around the man's neck. Until, then he will keep fighting through the universe.
Morality
Bravery
Most of the Jobs Dan'do would do were protection jobs.
If a fight would break out, Dan'do would be the first to break it up. He would hear a scream in the distance he'd go check it out.
Coldness
After his stint with the Deathwatch Dan'do relied mostly on himself. When it came to jobs, if someone proved to be a liability and were in danger Dan'do found it hard to help them. Many people have tried partnering up with him, to no avail. Even with the clone wars raging his cold side will peak through from time to time.
