Soon after Zason was born he was visited by a traveling Jedi who sensed his connection to The Force. He was brought to the Jedi Temple and trained and became a Padawan. His training and progress was no more or less than most. After he became a Padawan, Zason traveled to Jedha for reflection and additional training. Zason enjoyed the temple services and studying the kyber crystals, something he became fascinated with.

Since The Empire had control of the kyber crystal imports and owning one was considered a crime, Zason found himself, along with Badu, in a little known mine far outside the Holy City of Jedha. He was able to acquire a raw kyber crystal and just before they two were ready to head back the Death Star fired upon the city, turning it to dust. The sudden tremor in The Force of so many dying caused Zason to pass out. He only survived under the care of Badu.

In order to escape The Empire's reach, Zason used the raw kyber crystal to barter with the Zann Consortium for safe passage to the Outer Rim with Badu.

After they escaped, Zason eventually learns that others who are force sensitive are being hunted like animals. Combined with the desire to help those in need and the guilt of being unable to save those on Jedha, Zason takes on the alias of Hector Gray, a Bounty Hunter for The Empire that specialized in finding those in tune with The Force.

POWER: To get back the kyber crystal from Leyloo of the Zann Consortium.

CHARITY: To save others sensitive of The Force.

STATUS: To clear his Bounty Hunter alias, Hector Gray.

RELIGION/SPIRITUALITY: To learn more about The Force and They Gray Jedi.

BOUNTY (15): After working for The Empire for many years hunting force sensitive and secretly saving them as Hector Gray, he tries to save a force sensitive teen called Shael who was just a little too good on the illegal pod racing circuit. She just couldn't help staying away from the radar and was discovered, thus having his cover blown. Now Hector Gray has a bounty on his head.

Redheaded human with purple eyes and scruff in his early 30s. Several visible scars on his face and others over his body. Stands about 6 foot and is of average weight while fairly build as his primary form of combat is melee or unarmed.

As Hector Gray, he wore a full set of armor with a helmet to mast his true identity which led to Badu coining the nickname "Buckethead" for him. She still calls him that when she's upset with him.
